Representing Our Community

In these difficult times, it's easy to feel like another voice in the wilderness. Now more than ever, people need to know that their voice is heard in decisions that affect our community.

I will be a champion for our ward, our city, and our region as we work to diversify our economy as we recover.  Now more than ever, it is important to establish open lines of communication with community leagues and local groups, business owners, and organizations to build stronger relationships and accomplish shared goals.

Land Acknowledgement

I acknowledge the traditional land on which we reside, is in Treaty Six Territory. And I would like to thank the diverse Indigenous Peoples whose ancestors’ footsteps have marked this territory for centuries, such as Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, and Blackfoot.
I also recognize this as the Métis’ homeland and the home of one of the largest communities of Inuit south of the 60th parallel.
